Client Overview
The Philly Apartment Company is the premier apartment rental company in the Philadelphia region with aspirations to scale across other major US metro markets.
Project Goal
Unreal was signed to redesign the company’s brand identity and develop a marketing campaign to drive qualified leads to their site. The design goal was to get visitors to quickly understand what the company does, appreciate the value of their services, and of course, register.
Strategy and Tactics
We developed a new landing page with more intuitive navigation and a cleaner look and feel. The logo and tagline for the company were important elements to the brand. Unreal chose the look of the For Rent sign, but included the unique colorization of green and black for the company look and feel. Additionally, the white space where the word Philly reads, allows for additional cities should the company choose to expand. The tagline, “Meet your apartment match-maker” was chosen not only because it is based on a catch-phrase—and familiarity helps to build visitor trust—but Unreal also wanted the tagline to be action-oriented, telling visitors to get in touch with these apartment-finding experts. We recommended including new content such as a “Neighborhood Profile” section, and also created a comprehensive mapping and descriptive resource that not only serves as a benefit for site visitors, but also helps generate organic optimization with search engines.
Results
The redesign, along with a paid listings campaign, was launched mid-year. Since the start of the campaign, ongoing optimization efforts have resulted in consistent monthly improvements in cost per lead.
