Internships
Unreal Marketing is always looking for students who desire to get a head start in their marketing or advertising careers. At Unreal, our staff is dedicated to helping college students and recent graduates learn more about the field of online marketing.
In the fall, winter, and spring we provide intern opportunities for students and college graduates to get real-life, hands-on experience by working in one or more of our departments, helping out on a variety of projects and campaigns. Interns’ skills are matched to the current needs of the agency and its clients. Duration of the internship is determined before employment begins and varies according to school program, agency needs, and other factors.
During the summer we offer a competitive Internship Training Program of approximately six individuals. Through our challenging and hands-on internship program we are able to train and teach our business to students, and in return, we as a company benefit from their generous assistance. Duration of the Internship Training Program is 13 weeks (see schedule below).

Unreal Marketing Internship Program Overview
- Unreal marketing has implemented a comprehensive intern training program, designed to cultivate skills essential for a successful career in online marketing.
- In addition to providing valuable training within the online marketing space, Unreal provides compensation for this internship.
- The training program lasts for 13 weeks and consists of four primary sections:
- Hands-On Department Assignment
- Weekly Aggregate Training Modules
- Google / Yahoo Ambassador Program
- Team Project Development & Presentation
- There are 5 departments included in the assignment portion of the internship training program:
- Account Services
- Paid Search
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Online Media
- Research
- We rotate assignments among three different departments within the 13-week program to effectively cross train participants on all aspects of online marketing. Each intern is given the opportunity to rank the top three subject areas they are most interested in to help create the allocation schedule.
- Each assignment provides interns with intense on-the-job training within a specific area of online marketing.
